TechAmerica Southeast Announces 2009 Spirit of Endeavor Awards Nominees

Nearly 100 Nominations Received; Largest in Award’s History

Alpharetta, GA – TechAmerica Southeast today announced it has received more than 90 nominations for its 2009 Spirit of Endeavor Awards – the most nominations in the seven-year history of the awards.

"We are very excited about the record number of award nominations we have received this year, "said Adam Beckerman, 2009 chairman of the Spirit of Endeavor Awards Committee and a partner at Habif, Arogeti & Wynne, Atlanta. "I don’t envy our judges who will have tough job choosing the finalists from such a stellar list of nominees in every category."

The award categories are: Outstanding Leadership (individual); Technology Entrepreneur (individual); Emerging Business (organization); Technology Innovation (individual); Leadership in Technology Education (organization); and a new category, Cool Technology (organization) that will be decided by onsite text-voting during the awards event, Sept. 17, 2009, at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta. Up to five finalists will be chosen for each category by a selection committee comprised of representatives from the southeastern technology community.
