iDEA Data Platform™
iLumen's iDEA platform for banks and accounting firms solves the problem of having different sets of customer data existing in unique disconnected data silos. Data connectors built to standard banking and accounting systems collect data and transfer it into a sophisticated relational database, creating a single repository of all relevant customer data. Once there, the data is consolidated, standardized and aggregated so it can be searched, queried and analyzed in across the entire commercial portfolio.

Customer data for managing and understanding commercial customers exists in a variety of systems within a bank or accounting firm. Almost always, these systems were implemented from different third-party providers or developed internally to perform specific functions such as statement spreading and credit analysis within a bank or audit and tax analysis within an accounting firm. Collecting data from these separate systems to get a complete customer view can be a daunting task.
The IDEA Data Platform addresses the growing requirements to streamline the customer management process by assembling a single “data management” infrastructure. iDEA delivers data, analytics and applications throughout the entire lifecycle of serving business customers. iDEA is a centralized data management platform which serves as a single integration layer for both iLumen applications (Portfolio Connection and Customer Connection) and other existing applications. The iDEA Data Platform utilizes application-specific software servers (iDEA SERVERS) which connect to the bank’s or accounting firms’ internal systems in real time to manage the data exchange from different applications. Included in the iDEA Data Platform is the iDEA DATA STORE, a secure centralized database repository of customer financial data, customer demographic data, and other custom sources of data, customer sourced through iDEA SERVERS from the Bank’s various internal systems and from other third-party information sources.
Using the iDEA Data Platform the organization can automate the collection and delivery of customer data from multiple systems, enable straight-through availability of customer data, power end-to-end processing and workflows, and create a single customer financial data repository to standardize and consolidate credit data, analytics and models across the organization. The iDEA Data Platform powers iLumen applications (Portfolio Connection and Customer Connection) and serves as the central data junction for other key applications.
